Morning Zoom: Share, Care, Show & Tell! 

All Campers will celebrate what they’re learning from their classes every morning showing each other  their camp themes, sharing group projects, telling fun stories and more!

10:30-12:00pm

Morning Active On-Line Classes 

Kids will participate in three 30min on-line classes (10 students/class)  with professional Performing Arts teachers. The kids will be placed into these classes according to their age to best learn and develop skills in Music, Art, Acting, Improv and Dance

12:00-12:30pm

Lunch

During this time the Full-Day Campers will have the option to do on-line group lunches with their fellow campers and counselors. 

12:30-1:00pm

Camp Rcecess

Full-Day Campers will be given outdoor projects, crafts and challenges to complete in their own homes and backyards with their group partners and camp counselors. 

1:00-2:00pm

Rehearsals/ Theater Games

Full-Day Campers will rehearse their number with their director, in preparation for their Zoom Campfire Performance at the end of the week.

Coming Into Character

Robert Creighton, Award-winning Broadway Veteran, playwright, composer and triple threat, currently starring in Frozen on Broadway: Discover your potential as an actor, developing wonderful characters from the inside out, exploring their physicality and voice, with a focus on DIALECTS.

Fosse: All That Jazz

Jenn Dunne, Broadway triple threat and current cast member of Broadway’s Chicago, The Musical: Learn original choreography from Chicago’s All That Jazz and Hot Honey Rag with a virtual performance at the campfire! Discussions on the Fosse style and a talk back with the instructor. 

Tues. and Thurs., 3-4pm

Song Interpretation

Stephen Buntrock, Broadway Veteran: Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Grease, Oklahoma, Evita, Beauty and the Beast and many more! This class will train you in how to find clues provided in the music and lyrics as well as how to use vital techniques for turning that interpretation into an authentic, meaningful and vital performance. Solos and duets will be explored culminating in a virtual campfire show! A private virtual session with the instructor will be included, if needed.

The Big Picture: Virtual Film & Design

Heather Ballantyne, Actor/Director/Teacher: At the heart of all great films are great stories. This film-based class will focus on storytelling. You will write, direct, act and edit using your own phones to create and craft exciting short projects. Each week, a new focus on a key element in filmmaking!!

Film & TV Acting Intensive

Troy Hall, Award Winning Writer/Director/Actor: Learn how to break down a script, how to technically “act” with the camera and most importantly, how to create character from within so that the camera will capture it all through your eyes.

Deshja Driggs-Hall, Actor/Playwright/Director: Having the right monologue is key to getting hired. You will be matched with the monologue to make you shine and give you the confidence to walk into an audition with material that states who you are, why you are unique and what you’re capable of.

Intensive Scene Study

Susan Knight, Yale Drama Alum and MSU Professor of Theater: An exciting and innovative approach to help you reach your full potential as an actor. Designed to deepen and enhance your skills, you will also create and share individual exercises based on renowned acting teacher Uta Hagen’s Respect for Acting.

Finding Your Voice: Songwriting 101

Kristy Graves, Broadway/Film/TV actor, writer, director and composer: Having written songs performed at Madison Square Garden, The Paramount, The Beacon, and on Z100: You will learn to find your inner voice and write from a place that resonates from within yourself first and then with your listeners. We will discuss and apply the importance of melody, lyrics, chord progressions, songstructure, and most importantly, the heartbeat within.

Behind the Scenes of Broadway/TV - Workshop

Cody Renard Richard, Dynamic Broadway and TV Stage Manger: Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Kinky Boots, Tony Awards, The Wiz Live! and many more! You will be taken on an exciting live virtual journey from pre-production to opening night and beyond. Also learn stage managing basics for theater and TV through practicals and leadership exercises. Great class for an actor!

6-32 Bars and More! Audition Workshop

Erin Dilly, Tony Nominated Broadway veteran, TV and Film actor. Plaza Suite, A Christmas Story, Nice Work if you can get it, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Into the Woods, Law and Order, Bull, Boardwalk Empire, Gossip Girl, and many more. Erin will work with each actor to help them to truly connect with their audition selection. Learn to tell a story with a beginning middle and end in just 16-32 bars. This unique master class will help to bring your technique to the next level so you leave a lasting impression at your next audition.

The Business of Broadway - Workshop

Robert Creighton, A Broadway Veteran Performer, but also the Writer/Composer of an Award-Winning musical. Robert’s CAGNY, the Musical was a success! Taking lessons from one of the best, you will delve into the business side and find out just how important it really is. From headshots and networking to auditioning and negotiating, work ethic and even attitude, there’s a lot more to getting the job than being talented. This workshop will include a Q&A. Parents are welcome.
