Each year, the Board of Gas Lamp Players will award this scholarship to a graduating high school senior who is a longstanding member of the Gas Lamp community and exemplifies our values of inclusion, education, and collaboration. This scholarship is intended for a student pursuing a degree in the performing arts who has consistently participated, demonstrated a positive attitude, and contributed to the organization through work, volunteering, or mentoring.

This year’s scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior graduating in Spring 2026. The Board hopes recipients will be inspired by Ms. O’Hara’s talent, character, and dedication to her craft and feel supported by their Gas Lamp family as they follow their dreams.

Applications will be reviewed anonymously by a panel of Board members, who will consider the candidate’s involvement, attitude, contributions, and the quality of their essays.
