Each year, the Board of Gas Lamp Players will award a one-time $1,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior who has been a longstanding part of the Gas Lamp community and is pursuing a degree in the performing arts. The Board’s hope is that recipients of the Kelli O’Hara Gas Lamp Scholarship will be inspired by Ms. O’Hara’s talent, character, and dedication to her craft, and also feel supported by their Gas Lamp family as they follow their dreams.

In evaluating applications, a panel of Board members will consider the candidate’s involvement with Gas Lamp Players throughout the years and the quality of the submitted essay. Note that applications will be reviewed and evaluated anonymously with the name of the candidate redacted.
